I'd like to be rich and famous;
I want to fly around the world.
But whether or not I make it,
I'm still a lucky girl.

For I have heard the wind sing;
I've felt the sun's warm glow.
I've smelled the earth's sweet fragrance;
I've frolicked in the snow.

I've learned how to be happy;
I've learned how to be free.
I feel the earth around me
Was meant for me to see.

I've known the love of family;
I've learned to make amends.
I've fed my soul with music;
I've had the best of friends.

I've learned how to be happy;
I've learned how to be free.
I know I'm going to be just fine,
If only I try to be.
